China outbound travel expands to Spain, FITUR 2012 focus on Chinese hosted buyers
For the first time at the next edition of FITUR, to be staged from 18 to 22 January, the participating companies will be able to propose the foreign professionals they would like to invite to the fair, based on their business preferences.
Following the successfully inviting Chinese hosted buyers last year, China Business Network and World Travel Online is assigned again to invite high quality Chinese buyers for FITUR 2012 who recognised the growing importance of the travel and tourism to and from China.

At its year 2012 edition, the Foreign Buyers Programme at FITUR, which is organised in collaboration with the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, will offer exhibitors the opportunity to choose the guests for the fair. In this respect, the organisers of the fair, to be staged from 18 to 22 January 2012, seek to ensure that now, more than ever, the meetings that are held at FITUR serve to create synergies among professionals that lead to new business opportunities.

With this objective in mind, the next edition of the fair will enable the exhibitors themselves to propose the professionals they would like to see invited to the fair as part of the Hosted Buyers Programme, which means they will be able to select those visitors of greatest potential regarding their business interests, areas of development and markets of influence.

Through this new system whereby exhibitors invite guest buyers to FITUR, the interest aroused by the subsequent meetings amongst these professionals is effectively multiplied, thus leading to an increase in the number of trade deals and transactions carried out. Furthermore, based on their preferences and business activities, these foreign guests will be brought together at a series of B2B (Business to Business) Meetings with the exhibitors at FITUR within the Second Hosted Buyers Workshop, so that they can discover the latest ideas, products and new features that the industry offers at the fair.

In order to process these invitations, exhibitors must present their proposal to the fair and, once accepted, FITUR will bear the cost of the transport and accommodation for the corresponding guests, whilst also carrying out all of the necessary reservations. The buyers included in the programme will enjoy personalised and confidential attention, as well as exclusive access to a completely-equipped working area where they can process all of their trade operations.

The Hosted Buyers Programme effectively boosts FITUR's profile as a trade forum, one that brings together all of the main players within the tourist industry over the fair's days reserved for professionals, thus boosting business opportunities and optimising participants' time and resources.
