Argentina and Brazil kicks off four-city roadshow in China
On 14 May, a tourism delegation led by INPROTUR and EMBRATUR visited Beijing, the first stop of their 4-city promotion tour, with the assistance of World Travel Online and CBN Travel & MICE. Mr. Diego Ramiro Guelar - Ambassador of the Argentine Republic, Mr. Juan Ortin – Consul General from Embassy of the Argentine Republic, Ms. Helena Eloy – Counsellor from Embassy of the Federative Republic of Brazil attended the event, which attracted over 180 tour operators and more than 30 media to come.

said he believed that there would be more Chinese tourists visiting Argentina in the future

Ms. Helena Eloy, Counsellor from Embassy of the Federative Republic of Brazil, introduced Brazil resources to attract Chinese capital to local projects
Over 180 tour operators and Airlines, along with more than 30 media, came to the event to get the first-hand travel information of
Argentina and Brazil
 
Apart from introducing the most highlighted tourism resources in the countries, including the Iguaçu Falls - a shared tourist product between the two countries, they presented a detailed information of their visa policy for Chinese visitors: multiple-entry visa, increasing the number of visa center in China, reducing visa processing times, and so on.

According to Aerolineas Argentinas and LATAM Airlines Group, members of the delegation, now it costs Chinese visitors less time to fly to Argentina and Brazil, since the direct flights have been launched from China to the Caribbean, where Chinese visitors can take a transit.  
 
INPROTUR, together with local service providers and Aerolineas Argentina, gave the lucky winner a big reward,
including the free air ticket to Argentina
LATAM Airlines and Iguassu Convention & Visitors Bureau offered the free air ticket, accommodation and service to the lucky winner respectively
 
 
The delegation, including over 20 service providers based in Argentina and Brazil, had the opportunity to have the in-depth communication about cooperation possibilities with Chinese tour operators, who were provided with the fine Rutini Wines - CEPA Tradicional from Mendoza, as well as Caipirinha from Brazil.
 
The B2B section allowed the companies from Argentina and Brazil to have an in-depth talk with Chinese tour operators

After the delegation visited the capital city, they will go to Shanghai on the 16th and Guangzhou on the 21st, and finally Hong Kong on 23rd for its annual roadshow.
