Argentina tourism roadshow concludes successfully in Beijing
China is now one of the key source markets for Argentina tourism.
A tourism delegation led by INPROTUR has visited 4 major cities in China this month, to help raise awareness about Argentina as a holiday destination for Chinese travelers, with the assistance of World Travel Online and CBN Travel&MICE. 
 
The delegation, which included destinations, tour operators and airlines, visited Shanghai on 14th May, Guangzhou on 20th May, followed by Chengdu on the 22nd and finally the capital city Beijing on the 23rd, for its annual roadshow and B2B events with Chinese tour operators. China is now one of the key source markets for Argentina, receiving 62,000 Chinese visitors in the year 2018, with an increase of 20%.
 
In the roadshow of Beijing on 23rd May, Mr. Diego Ramiro Guelar - Ambassador of the Argentine Republic addressed the opening speech, and Mr. José Valiente, Consul of Argentinean Embassy in China introduced convenient visa application process for Chinese tour operators.

Ms. Nachi Vilardo - Marketing Director of INPROTUR welcome the Chinese tour operators and Ms. Isabel Lin, Marketing Director of INPROTUR office in China, introduced the nation's diverse and rich tourism to hope to attract more Chinese visitors.
 
Ms. Nachi Vilardo said “Ni Hao” in Chinese to make greetings with tour operators.Ms. Isabel Lin cited Argentina's famously diversified landscape as a premier attraction in her presentation.
 
Argentina and China are nearly 30 hours apart by air, yet this physical distance has not stopped both countries from facilitating mutual discovery and a closer relationship with each other. Argentina is working with different airlines to increase the number of flights and improve connectivity from China to Argentina. 
 
Argentinean representatives of local tourist boards also presented their specific highlights to Chinese tour operators.

Argentinean destinations and travel agencies interacted with China's tour operators and travel agencies in Beijing.
 
 
In addition to roadshow, INPROTUR also held special B2B events for tour operators who focused on South American tourism in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing. This provided a platform to communicate deeply for both sides. 
 
In Guangzhou, Chinese tour operators showed great interest in Argentina, and talked with Ms. Nachi Vilardo.Ms. Mariela Florio introduced the highlights of the destination to tour operators in Guangzhou.
