Argentina and Brazil visited Guangzhou to promote its tourism

On 21 May, with the support of  World Travel Online and CBN Travel & MICE, INPROTUR and EMBRATUR have successfully concluded a tourism workshop in Guangzhou, the hub city in Southern China, as part of its promotional tour in China this year. This delegation from Argentina and Brazil, including over 20 partners from Argentine and Brazilian tourism and hospitality industries visited Guangzhou, met with nearly 200 tour operators through the business meeting section.

Mr. Jaime J. Goldaracena, Consul-General of the Argentine Republic in Guangzhou, made the welcome speech at the eventMr. Ricardo Maria Betta Roel, Deputy Consul-General of the Argentine Republic in Guangzhou, introduced the latest visa policy for visitors 
Mr. Wilson Adélio Domingues, Deputy Consul-General of the Federative Republic of Brazil in Guangzhou, said that Chinese tourists were welcome to BrazilMs. Carolina Varão, chief of immigration of the Federative Republic of Brazil, shared the procedure of applying for Brazil visa
INPROTUR and EMBRATUR highlighted their tourism essences on the stage, especially the shared famous Iguazu falls along their mutual border. Both countries are seeking to facilitate the arrival of Chinese visitors, and making it easier for Chinese tourists to come: relaxing visa policies for Chinese, working with different airlines to improve connectivity, increasing the cultural exchanges, and so on.

The promotion tour in China will end on 23 May in Hong Kong.
