The only business to business outbound event in China dedicated to the Chinese outbound travel and tourism industry, COTTM (China Outbound Travel & Tourism Market), was held its 6th during 28th – 30th April, 2010 in Beijing, China. World Travel Online was the media partner to support and cover the whole exhibition again.

This year the exhibition included 230 exhibitors from 55 different countries, from Australia to Azerbaijan; Croatia to Cuba; Thailand to Tanzania, creating a global platform of destinations and services, and the business opportunities to meet with the key Chinese industry professionals and buyers.

Conservator of Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, Mr. B. M. Murunya received an interview given by World Travel Online during COTTM. With rich tourist and wildlife resources, Mr. B. M. Murunya is eager to share this beautiful land with Chinese tourists. Early on COTTM 2009, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority won the CTW Award with the support of China Business Network and World Travel Online, which was the best proof of their hard working on the Chinese outbound market.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area covers 8,292 square kilometers. The main feature of the NCA include the Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti Plains that support about 2.0 millions migratory wildlife species of the Serengeti Mara-ecosystem and the catchment forest; the Northern Highland Forest Reserve known as ‘Entim Olturot’ in Maa language. Other important features found in the NCA are the archaeological and palaeontological site located at Oldupai Gorge and the early human foot-prints that were discovered at Alaitole in Ngarusi area. Because of these particular features and the harmonious co-existence between wildlife and people that has existed for many years, NCA was accorded the status of a World Heritage Site and listed as one of the International Biosphere Reserve by the UNESCO’s Man and Biosphere Reserve Programme.
