CNTA Chairman Li Jinzao held a meeting with His Excellency Mr. Ali Padrón, Deputy Minister of Tourism of Venezuela, in Chengdu on September 14.
Li praised the sound bilateral relations and growth potential of two-way tourism exchange between the two countries and welcomed tourism companies from Venezuela to join the World Tourism Alliance so as to expand two-way personnel exchange between China and Venezuela.
Mr. Padrón was proud of the beautiful scenery and abundant tourism resources of his country and said, “My government highly values the Chinese market and will actively encourage local tourism companies to join the World Tourism Alliance.”
Also present at the meeting were departmental heads of CNTA and Venezuela’s Ministry of Tourism.
