On December 17, local time, CNTA Chairman met with US Travel Association President Roger Dow in Chicago during the China-
US Tourism Cooperation Forum.
At the meeting, Chairman Li suggested the American side to set up more Chinese signage at stations, docks and airports, strengthen cooperation in tourism insurance, the supervision of tourism market and work related to tourism industry associations, and support the mutual investment of tourism enterprises in both countries.
Mr. Roger Dow agreed and remarked that the forum was a great success, both parties were honest with each other and the American party would actively create favorable conditions and provide quality services for Chinese tourists, and at the same time, reinforce cooperation of financial, investment and tourism enterprises and seek for more opportunities in tourism investment.
