Chinese Vice Premier met with Peruvian acting President and the two countries are looking forward to deepen cooperation in a wider range areas.
On September 23, 2011, visiting Chinese Vice Premier Hui Liangyu met with Peruvian acting President Marisol Espinoza in Lima.
The Chinese vice premier said that, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries, China was willing to work with
Peru to push for sustainable development of the China-Peru strategic partnership on the basis of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit. In recent years, Cultural exchanges between the two countries have become more active, which further enhanced mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples and consolidated the foundation of public opinion for bilateral friendly relations.
Espinoza said currently the two countries face a golden opportunity for keeping closer ties and achieving common development. She said Peru highly valued its ties with China and believed Hui's visit to Peru would open a new stage for the friendly cooperation between the two countries. Espinoza expressed hope of deepening cooperation with China in a wider range of areas.
