Assistant Foreign Minister of China Visits Ecuador

China enhances the relations with Ecuador.

From August 28 to 30, 2011, Assistant Foreign Minister Zhang Kunsheng, at the invitation of Ecuador's First Deputy Foreign Minister Lucas, visited Ecuador and attended the sixth political consultation between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

During the stay, Zhang held meetings with Ecuador's Vice President Lenin Moreno Garces and Foreign Minister Ricardo Patino and participated in the sixth political consultation with Lucas. The two sides exchanged in-depth opinions on the bilateral relations and the regional and international issues of common interest.
