Bolivia welcomed more Chinese enterprises to invest in Bolivia for win-win outcomes and the benefit of the two peoples.
On August 11, 2011, Wu Bangguo, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), met with visiting Bolivian President Juan Evo Morales Ayma at the Great Hall of the People.
Wu said both sides have always respected each other and treated each other as equals, citing enhanced political trust, economic complementarity, win-win economic cooperation and cultural exchanges, as well as close coordination in global and regional issues. He also suggested that both sides deepen pragmatic cooperation in trade and cultural areas, share experiences in governing the country and improving people's livelihoods so as to cement the foundation of public support for bilateral friendship and promote common development.
Speaking highly of China's great achievements in economic and social development and important role in boosting global economic recovery, Morales said Bolivia hopes to learn from China's experience, as well as enhance friendship and pragmatic cooperation with the country.
