The Tourism Office of the Consulate General of Spain in Guangzhou has been opened to the public, and this is also the second Spanish Tourism Office in China.
The office will promote Spain's tourism in southern China, including Hong Kong and Macau. Starting March 2010, Guangzhou citizens will be able to apply for tourist visas to Spain from this office.
The office will be a new partner to Chinese agencies who looking to extend their travel portfolio. It will invite agencies to carry out investigation visits to Spain and assist with activities that will benefit both parties. In addition the office will facilitate the launch of direct flights between Spain and Guangzhou.
