From January to August, the number of Chinese tourists visiting
Spain increase by 14.8% over the same period last year, according to statistics from the Spanish National Tourism Authority (INSTITUTO DE TURISMO DE ESPAA). In particular, the number of Chinese tourists to Spain in August has increased by 39% over the same period last year.
Spain received 514,000 Chinese tourists in 2017, with an increase of 37.1% over the previous year.
