Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism(Mitur) recently came to China to attend the 10th Beijing International Tourism Exp(BITE) to attract more Chinese consumers visit the Dominican Republic.

BITE 2013 is China's major domestic and international tourism promotion activities, the Beijing Municipal Government to support the activities. This year, the delegation of the Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism, International Marketing Consultant Ms. Magaly Toribio, the International Public Relations Officer Ms. Giselle Díaz, director of electronic marketing Ms. Evelyn Paiewonsky attends the event. In addition, Dominican trade development representative Miss Wu Meigui and 6 travel agencies also participated in the fairs.

The BITE is an excellent platform and opportunity for the destination for the promotion of tourism in Dominican Republic. Last year the Dominican stands were selected as the most popular booth during the exhibition. This year, the Dominican Republic is the only Caribbean country to participate in the BITE. Latin America, participating countries includes only Dominican Republic, Mexico and Brazil. The Expo is expected to be received within 3 days of 45,000 visitors.
During the exhibition, the Dominican delegation successfully met with China's major airlines to discuss the direct flights from China to Dominica. Ms Wu Meigui, Dominican trade development representative said: “Both China airlines and hainan airlines are keen on operating the Dominican direct flights."
The Dominican republic is the second largest country in the Caribbean with the best tourism in the world. Meanwhile, the ranked world's top ten golf center and the best hotel attracts stars and celebrities spending holidays all over the world.
