TKS Exhibition Services Ltd. (TKS), fair organizer of
International Travel Expo and MICE Travel Expo (ITE & MICE), has announced that it will continue its partnership with Baobab Tree Event Management Co., Ltd (BTE), the event manager of 2012 International Study Tour Conference, to run a bigger scale of 2013 International Study Tour Conference & Showcase (2013 ISTC). The event will be held concurrently with 2013 ITE & MICE during 13-16 June 2013 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong.
Organized by TKS with the event professionally managed by Baobab Tree Event, ISTC celebrated inaugural success in its first edition in 2012 – close to 300 industry professionals and hundreds of public visitors were recorded in the two-day event. Both sponsors and attendees left positive remarks for the event. Given this strong feedback, TKS and BTE will run the event again in 2013 with bigger scale to welcome more attendees in Hong Kong and its neighbouring regions.
Both Conference and Showcases will be highlighted in the 2013 event. The Conference will be specially designed with the second day targeting professional trade visitors in the industry while the third day of the Expo catering to general public. Hot topics like market trend, planning & management of study tour, guidance in choosing suitable study tour, adult study tour, etc. will be addressed. Meanwhile, a number of showcases will also be available to offer sponsors/exhibitors and attendees interaction and discussion opportunities for products and consultancy services related to study tour.
“We are happy to co-operate with Baobab Tree Event this year. After last year’s success, we have confidence that a bigger scale with more trendy themes like MICE, cruise, study tour, wellness, honeymooning & overseas weddings and travel photography will contribute to the success of the 2013 ITE & MICE and enhancing the appeal of our travel expo to visitors,,” said K S Tong, managing director of TKS.
“As the event manager of ISTC, we absorbed last year’s experience and will make the upcoming event even more fruitful. We received numerous enquiries even after the event. It implies that the industry projects huge potential of the market. We hope both exhibitors/speakers and attendees can make use of the platform offered by 2013 ISTC to exchange ideas and get useful information,” said Culsin Li, managing director of Baobab Tree Event.
With government’s emphasis on all-round development and lifelong learning, flexible, inspiring and diversified teaching methods have been adopted by more teachers and schools. Incorporating learning goals into travel experience, study tours are getting more and more popular.
