Momentum continues to build in the run-up to the Middle East Travel and Tourism Summit (METTS), to be held February 26th -27th at Jordan’s Dead Sea. BBC World correspondent Lyse Doucet has signed on to moderate the conference. Three companies have added their names to the list of official sponsors, and several countries have announced plans to send ministerial delegations.

Ms. Doucet, a news correspondent and presenter for the BBC World service, has a strong background in the Middle East and has reported on events throughout the region. Before joining BBC World, she worked for 15 years as a BBC foreign correspondent and, in 2003, was awarded a Silver Sony Award for News Broadcaster of the Year.
