Shanghai-based online travel operator Lvmama.com was announced as the official Chinese travel partner of Inter Milan on Saturday and the two sides will cooperate in soccer-related itineraries.
The two sides will join hands to design and develop soccer itineraries for Chinese tourists and sports fans, including trips to San Siro to watch games of the club, under the strategic cooperation agreement signed by the two sides.
The tours will also incorporate visits to the stadium and training base of Inter Milan.
Michael Gandler, Chief Revenue Officer for Inter Milan, said the cooperation would boost the exchange between China and Italy as Milan is one of the most popular overseas destinations of Chinese tourists.
About 40,000 Chinese people visited Russia for the World Cup, ranking No.9 in the world, and the sports tourism industry is growing over 30 percent year on year in China.
