A direct air service will be launched in May between central China's city of Wuhan and London, according to the Hubei airport group Thursday.
Ticket sales have already started. China Southern Airlines will use an Airbus330-200 for the service.
The flights will depart from Wuhan at 2:15 p.m. Beijing Time and arrive in London at 6:45 p.m. local time every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The return flights will leave London at 9:10 p.m. local time and arrive in Wuhan at 3:35 p.m. Beijing Time.
It will be the seventh international air route for Wuhan Tianhe International Airport, following flights to Paris, Moscow, San Francisco, Rome, Sydney and St Petersburg, which is the airport with the most international routes in central China.
