A Boeing 787-800 aircraft Wednesday landed at an airport in Zhengzhou, capital of central China's Henan Province, arriving from Melbourne in Australia, marking the official opening of a new air route between the two cities.
The twice-a-week service is operated by Australian budget carrier Jetstar Airways on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with a flight time of 10 and a half hours.
The flight leaves Zhengzhou at 23: 00 Beijing time and arrives in Melbourne at 12:30 local time the next day. The return flight departs Melbourne at 14: 00 local time and arrives in Zhengzhou at 21:30 Beijing time.
