China and Kazakhstan Sign MoU on Tourism Cooperation
 
On the afternoon of December 14, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov attended the signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding between China National Tourism Administration and the Ministry of Investments and Development of Kazakhstan on Providing Conveniences for the Group Tour of Chinese Citizens to the Republic of Kazakhstan held at the Great Hall of the People. The MoU was signed by CNTA Chairman Li Jinzao and Minister Asset Issekeshev of Investments and Development on behalf of China and Kazakhstan, respectively.
 
According to the MoU, Kazakhstan will make it more convenient for the group tour of Chinese citizens to Kazakhstan, which will be launched officially after both sides exchange the list of authorized travel agencies and go through necessary internal procedures. By then, the number of group tour destinations for Chinese citizens will reach 120.
