Cambodia and China's Jiangxi province boost closer bilateral ties into torism projets.
China's Jiangxi province is keen to bolster cooperation with Cambodia in the fields of tourism, Su Rong, secretary of China's Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), said Wednesday.
He made the remarks during a meeting with Cambodia's Deputy Prime Minister Yim Chhay Ly.
Su said that China and Cambodia had had a long relation. From generation to generation, the bilateral ties had become stronger.
He added that Jiangxi is well-developed in the fields of tourism, and Cambodia is quite rich in this sector, so it is important that the two sides promote closer cooperation in the fields.
Meanwhile, Yim Chhay Ly expressed his full support for the initiative to boost closer ties between Cambodia and China's Jiangxi, adding that Cambodia always welcomed and supported Chinese torism projects as the projects would contribute to the development of the country's economy.
Ly expressed profound thanks to the government and people of China for their continuous supports to Cambodia, especially its development of infrastructures.
