Chinese National Day is coming soon, more than 200 million Chinese plan to travel abroad during the week of holiday.
Over two million Chinese citizens are projected to travel abroad during the week of Chinese National Day which starts on October 1st.
Various local media report say that about 2.1 million Chinese citizens are expected to leave their country for the seven-day holiday with the most popular destinations being neighboring Asian countries, Europe and the United States.
Local media sources also say the number of Chinese tourists headed to Japan and the Philippines will be significantly lower… due to China's diplomatic conflict with Japan over disputed islands in the East China Sea… and the recent deaths of eight Cantonese tourists in Manila.
Meanwhile, China's latest diplomatic issues are expected to boost the number of tourists headed to South Korea and Taiwan.
