As part of the Tenth Western China Economy and Trade Fair held in Chengdu, Vietnam has signed four agreements with Sichuan province on tourism, economy, and trade.

Under the tourism cooperation memorandum, Vietnam and Sichuan will enhance exchanges on tourism experiences and information, especially updates about key tourism festivals and events, tourism investment programs, and tourism promotion events. The two will jointly develop tourist routes between Vietnam and Sichuan, promote cooperation between each other's tourism enterprises, and work on training tourism staff.

According to the memorandum concerning trade and investment cooperation, the two parties propose a direct flight route from Vietnam to Sichuan, creating convenient conditions for trade, tourism, and investment cooperation between them.
