The Society of Incentive and Travel Executives now has a new branch in Beijing.

Founded in 1973, SITE is the only international, non-profit and professional association devoted to providing educational seminars and information services to its members. Currently SITE has over 2,000 members in 82 countries, which are categorized into 33 districts.

SITE's members come from airlines, cruise lines, destination management companies, ground transportation companies, hotels, resorts, conference centers, official tourist organizations, trade publications, travel agencies and supporting organizations.

At present, SITE China has 25 members from Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Guilin, Suzhou, and other areas. Yu Debin, the deputy director general of Beijing Municipal Tourism Administration, says that the launch of SITE China means China has received international recognition for incentive and travel activities.
