The Management Department of Glamis Castle from Scotland has signed a tourism and cultural cooperation agreement with China Great Wall Academy to share tourism resources.
According to their agreement, Glamis Castle will teach Chinese 20 students so that they can help spread knowledge about the Great Wall in China, and the China side will distribute pamphlets about Glamis Castle on the Great Wall to have tourists know about this old castle.
The agreement is said to be result of years of mutual communication between China and the Angus government where Glamis Castle is located. Glamis is the childhood home of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, birthplace of Her Royal Highness The Princess Margaret and legendary setting for Shakespeare's famous play 'Macbeth'.
According to statistics of World Travel Organization, China will become the world's fourth largest travel market in 20 years and its outbound tourists will reach 100 million by then.
