Beijing International Travel and Tourism Market show will be hold at April 20-23 at the the NAEC Exhibition Center.
This is China's only outbound tourism exhibition and could draw as many as 20,000 visitors including representatives of China International Travel Service, the largest operator on the Chinese market. The Chamber of Tourism, a nationwide organization initiated and formed by the private tourist sector of China, also is on board, pledging to bring thousands of its members. Of China's 34 regions, 20 governors plan to send regional travel and tourism professionals; the number could grow between now and April.
"Every exhibitor is guaranteed to meet Chinese outbound tour operators and travel agents eager to bring thousands of Chinese travelers to their countries and properties," organizers said.
Chinese outbound tourism in 2003 generated more than 23 million departures with over $16 billion in overseas expenditures.
