2013 Tanzania Investment and Tourism Promotion Event was successfully held in Beijing on 12th, Shanghai 15th and Guangzhou 17th April.
Tanzania Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism,
Tanzania National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, Wildlife Department, Antiquities Department attended this huge event. On each city, the event attracted over 160 travel trade professionals, investors and Medias. Several excellent tour operators from Tanzania and airlines attended this event. Many business cooperations have been reached.

Now, China has become the biggest trade partner and the second largest investor of Tanzania. There are more then 500 Chinese Companies operated in Tanzania. During Chinese president Xi Jinping state to Tanzania, cooperation documents of diplomacy, trade, technology and education were signed between the two countries. Ambassador of Tanzania mentioned that:"After the visit of President Xi, Tanzania has attracted lots of attentions of Chinese Media, we believe Tanzania will attract more Chinese Visitors and Investors in the future."

Tanzania is famous for rich wildlife resources and biological diversity, where eco-tourism has become a favorable economic growth. There are 16 natural parks and 23 natural reserves, with total area accounting for 28% of the land of Tanzania, which ranks first in the world.

During the Promotion Event, Ms. Nuru Halfan Mrisho Millao, deputy permanent secretary of Tanzania Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, Mr. Ibrahim Ally Mussa, director of Tourism Division, Dr. Aloyce Kashindye Nzuki, Managing Director of Tanzania Tanzania Tourist Board and Mr. Allan Julius Herbert Kijazi, director general of Tanzania National Park made speeches in person, introducing the tourism resources and tourism investment projects and opportunities in Tanzania to Chinese businessmen and tourism professionals. They welcome Chinese tourists travel to Tanzania and encourage Chinese companies to seek investment opportunities in Tanzania.
