China International Travel Mart 2011 Closed Successfully
The China International Travel Mart(CITM) 2011 was successfully closed at Kunming International Convention & Exhibition Center om November 30, 2011.
The China International Travel Mart (CITM) 2011 was successfully held at Kunming International Convention & Exhibition Center from November 27 to 30, 2011. This year's CITM is attended by more than 900 overseas buyers (including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) and VIPs from more than 40 countries, and has a representation of 2,233 exhibiter booths spread over six halls, with more than 100 thousand visitors attending and over 250 million propaganda products being sent, as well as above 10 thousand of contracts signed.

CITM is an annual event that is held in Shanghai and Kunming alternatively. It is the biggest professional travel expo in Asia which attracts players in the travel industry including international and domestic tourist organizations, travel agencies, hotels, airlines and other travel-related organizations. 

China Business Network (CBN), CBN Travel & MICE and World Travel Online (WTO) have been supporting the event by not only attending but also inviting foreign tourism authorities and other incoming service providers that wish to attract Chinese visitors as well as inviting Chinese outbound tour operators and corporate travel organizers coming to CITM to meet invited foreign exhibitors. The increasing number of foreign exhibits attending the CITM confirmed the fast growing outbound market of China as well as the increasing weight the CNTA is attaching to support outbound travel from China
.

 six countries join forces to make the region
known in the Chinese market. 
At the Colorful booth of Tourism Council of Bhutan,
staff in the traditional dress is making presentation
earnestly to visitors. 
Tanzania Tourist Board mainly show its safari,
which quite meet the current needs
of Chinese tourists.

Zagreb Tourist Board is attaching importance to the Chinese market, whose director Mr. Luka Benko has come to the booth for the promotion in person. As the capital of Croatia, Zagreb, a historical and famous city in the Central Europe built in the 11th century, boasts varieties of architectures of the 18th, 19th century including baroque, gothic, renaissance and yugoslavia. Its booth attracts many visitors to learn more about Zagreb, which greatly increases their confidence to promote Zagreb's tourism destinations and products to the Chinese.

After over 10 years development, CITM has become the biggest travel fair  in Asia  for travel trade and consumers alike and plays an increasingly important role in promoting inbound and outbound travel to and from China hence contributing to the recovery and further development of the travel and tourism industry worldwide. It is reported that the 14th CITM will be held in Shanghai from November 15 to 18, 2012.
