Fitur 2012 demonstrate the uproar of tourism despite concerns over economy in Europe
Fitur, the annual International Tourism Trade Fair in Madrid took place between 18-22 January.
During the five days of
Fitur 2012 over 10,434 exhibitors from 166 countries and 209,260 visitors including tourism officials and travel professionals as well as general public, met during Fitur to transform leisure into business and business into development for those destinations that welcome millions of travellers.
China proved to be a popular destinations for foreign visitors that was evidenced by the large crowds gathering around the China Pavilion and other stands that are selling China.
Mr Shi, the Director of
China National Tourism Office led the delegation from China which consisted regional tourism authorities and key international travel services such as CITS Head Office etc.

Outbound travel from emerging markets especially China has kept high growth rates thus, for the second year
China Business Network and
World Travel Online supported Fitur to invite hosted buyers from China coming to meet up with interested suppliers from
Spain and other parts of the world.

Many countries had very colourful stand with large delegations from Argentina to Tanzania, all demonstrating their confidence in FITUR as a first-class platform to promote their tourist offerings.
