On September 10, CNTA chairman Li Jinzao held a meeting with the visiting UNWTO Secretary General Taleb Rifai in Chengdu who was there for the 22nd UNWTO General Assembly. The two exchanged ideas frankly on the preparation for the meeting and on wider international tourism cooperation.
The two were accompanied by CNTA vice chairman Du Jiang, UNWTO executive director Zhu Shanzhong, regional director for Asia and the Pacific Xu Jing, and senior officials from CNTA Department of Tourism Promotion and International Liaison.
