Guangzhou International Travel Fair 2009 (GITF 2009) grandly held in Guangzhou Jinhan Exhibition Center during 26th-29th March. China Business Network (CBN) and World Travel Online were also invited by the organizing committee as an exhibitor and supportive media, attended the big event.

The stand of China Business Network and World Travel Online attracted a lot of visitors as it showed a lot of interesting information and materials about many destinations and overseas incoming service providers all together, such as Jamaica Tourist Board, Ethiopia Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Guinea National Tourism Office, Tourism Ministry of Central African Republic, Madagascar National Tourism Office, Victoria and Albert Museum and Central Hall Westminster from UK, Panviman Group of Resorts from Thailand, Starline Travel and Tour from Ghana, and AQP Specialized Peruvian Tour Operator from Peru, etc..

GITF 2009 attracted 460 exhibitors from 40 countries and regions. Embracing its 17th anniversary this year, GITF 2009 enjoyed a tremendous upgrade in its internationalization. Apart from traditional exhibitors from Egypt, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Russia, Spain, Sri Lanke, Thailand, U.A.E, Vietnam, Tunisia, Tanzania, Switzerland, South Africa, Kenya, etc. some new faces such as US, Belgium, Czech Republic, Fiji, Tahiti, Mexico, Chile, Morocco, France as well as Tourism Promotion Organization for Asia-Pacific Cities (TPO) also made their debut at the show, once again consolidating the irreplaceable status of GITF as one of the most important tourism trade fairs in Asia-Pacific region.

To better serve the exhibitors and visitors, the organizer also deliberately presented a lineup of concurrent events including the International Tourism Forum (Guangzhou) 2009, GITF Golf Match, evening reception, buyers night, tourism promotional events and SPA eco-tour, etc., providing a fruitful journey for 300 buyers from USA, Canada, Europe, Japan and South East Asia as well as an ideal platform for exhibitors to present their images.
GITF 2009 successfully rounded off on 29th March. 60,000 visitors acclaimed the fantasy world with excitement. GITF2010 will be held in Guangzhou Jinhan Exhibition Centre again during 25th-27th March next year.
