Six travel agencies in Serbia have been granted permits for cooperation with Chinese agencies at the 32nd IFT International Tourism Fair held in Belgrade, the capital city of Serbia.
Serbia and China became reciprocal tourism destinations in 2009 and this has created new opportunities for the two countries to cooperate in tourism.
Wei Jinghua, the Chinese ambassador to Serbia, has said that Serbia is a new destination for Chinese tourists. He believes that many Chinese will want to visit the country. The embassy will work with Serbia to make it possible for Chinese to visit the country as soon as possible.
