During the talks, Minister Hoang Anh Tuan welcomed Shao Qiwei and his tourism delegation and said the visit of great significance will open a new situation in Vietnam China Travel Service during the period of 60th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China. Vietnam and China have reached a consensus on 8 points as I visited China two years ago, and the entire consensus and relevant cooperation projects have been implemented. Today, we will sign the "tourism cooperation agreement for 2010-2013". In addition, Minister Hoang Anh Tuan proposed five suggestions on the implementation of cooperation agreements and the expansion of bilateral tourism cooperation, including exchanging travel information, strengthening cooperation in tourism propaganda and improvement cooperation, promoting tourism investment, training more travel guides and improving tourism quality service, etc..

On behalf of China National Tourism Administration and the Chinese tourism delegation, Chairman Shao Qiwei thanked for the Vietnamese warm reception and expressed his kindness for revisit Vietnam after a lapse of 6 years. Upon approval for the suggestions on expansion of bilateral tourism cooperation proposed by Hoang Anh Tuan, Shao Qiwei said it is the 65th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam, the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam, the first Friendship year launched by two countries for his visit to Vietnam. The visit is meaningful because it is the11th anniversary of tourism agreement, the 10th anniversary of ADS agreements, then the two sides will sign a "Tourism Cooperation Agreement for 2010-2013".

On behalf of tourism departments of two countries respectively, Shao Qiwei and Hoang Anh Tuan signed the "Tourism Cooperation Agreement for 2010-2013 between China National Tourism Administration and Culture, Sports and Tourism Ministry of Socialist Republic of Vietnam", after the formal talks.
