On May 26, Vice Chairman of China National Tourism Administration Zhu Shanzhong met CEO of the German National Tourist Board Petra Hedorfer and her entourage. The two sides had an exchange of views on strengthening the cooperation of tourism industry between the two countries.

On behalf of China National Tourism Administration, Zhu Shanzhong extended his welcome to Petra Hedorfer for her attendance in the 10th World Travel & Tourism Conference. He said that as a great power in the world’s tourism industry, Germany cherishes a plenty of precious experience for China to learn from. China will step up its tourism promotion in Germany and push for the exchange and cooperation in tourism between the two countries.  

Petra Hedorfer said China is one of Germany’s most important tourism destinations and tourist source countries in the Asia. The tourism industry circles of the two countries should keep close cooperation. She expressed her welcome to more Chinese tourists to visit Germany and encouragement for more German tourists to travel in China.
