On May 26, Chairman of CNTA Zhu Shanzhong met with Gloria Guevara (Mexican Minister of Tourism) in Beijing.
Shao Qiwei welcomes Gloria Guevara's second visit to China and participation in the 10th World Travel & Tourism Conference held in Beijing. He points out that China and Mexico enjoy friendly relationship, and ever-increasing citizens make two-way exchanges. As more and more Chinese citizens travel in the long-range markets, tourist exchanges between China and Mexico will be bound to usher in strong growth in 2010. Shao Qiwei cordially invites Minister Gloria Guevara to lead a delegation to participate in China International Tourism Trade Fair, and discusses on the establishment of bilateral tourism cooperation mechanism.
Gloria Guevara highly agrees with further closer cooperation in the tourism authorities between the two countries. She expresses that Mexico attached great importance to friendly cooperation relation with China, and she is very optimistic about prospects for China-Mexico tourism cooperation. Mexico will input more resources to expand the Chinese market. And Mexico will further improve and simplify visa procedures, the Chinese tour guide services, the Chinese cuisines and other aspects so as to attract more Chinese citizens to travel in Mexico.
