Shortly before the opening of the 10th WTTC, Du Jiang Vice Chairman of CNTA met with the delegation led by Matthew Apochurch,Virtuoso CEO.

Du firstly welcomed Mr. Apochurch’s attendance for the 10th WTTC in Beijing on behalf of CNTA. Du said: “As China’s tourism market develops rapidly, there has seen a trend of differentiation. And China welcomes large tourist enterprises like Virtuoso to invest in China and is willing to share the current opportunities with overseas enterprises. Still, we hope that as Virtuoso expands its business in China, more advanced managerial experience can be brought in”.

Mr. Apochurch said: “Though taking up only 10% to 15% a share of global tourism market, luxury travel is an indispensable part which plays an important role in influencing the development of the many tourist destinations. China will be an important tourist destination of global market and Virtuoso will do more in introducing China to its customers”.
