At the invitation of Mr. Kutesa, Ugandan Foreign Minister, Mr. Museminari, Rwandan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Cooperation, Mr. Banda, Malawian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr. Zuma, Foreign Minister of South Africa, Mr. Amorim, Brazilian Minister of Foreign Relations and Mr. Amado, Portuguese Minister of State and Foreign Affairs, Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi will pay official visits to the above six countries from January 13 to 21.
China as a firm friend of Africa, has made great effort to help African brothers and sisters.
As the World Bank said in a report last year that China's overtures to Africa had led to a massive infrastructure revolution on the continent that was vital to reducing poverty.
Many African nations have also welcomed China's no-strings-attached economic policies.
