Shao Qiwei, director of China National Tourism Administration, disclosed at a recent travel presentation that China and the United States have made great progress in the consultation on travel affairs and the United States will soon become an approved travel destination for Chinese citizens.

Travel agencies in China are hopeful that once the U.S. becomes China's approved travel destination, the price for American trips will be greatly reduced, and it will be easier to get an America visa.

Wang Suqi, general manager of CITS Exit and Entry Company disclosed the acceptance rate for applying for an America visa has increased a lot this year.Wang says the acceptance rate in the first half of this year reached 90% for some categories of travelers.
