The International Tourism Fair, -organised by IFEMA, from the 23 to 27 January at Feria de Madrid-, and the magazine Aire Libre are jointly organising the “24th FITUR Active Tourism Competition”, the aim of which is, once again, to promote active tourism products, thus encouraging their marketing both nationally and internationally.
The competition is open to all genres based on adventure, culture, nature, wine-gastronomy, sports and environmental tourism submitted by FITUR 2019 exhibitors and co-exhibitors.
Each company can participate with the products they wish to, up to a maximum of three, and products that received awards in previous years may not compete. The following criteria will be taken into account: original idea, presentation and image, contribution to the recovery of the environment and sustainable development, infrastructure quality, marketing and distribution channels. The jury is comprised of end consumers, exhibitors and co-exhibitors, media and tourism industry representatives.
The deadline to present submissions is the 30 November 2018. The decisions will be made on the Thursday prior to the inauguration of the Fair, and the winners will be notified the next day.
