The eighth World Travel Fair (WTF 2011), was held successfully in Shanghai between 12th and 15th, 2011.China Business Network (CBN) and its affiliated CBN Travel & MICE and World Travel Online(WTO) were invited to attend this great exhibition again, and recommended many excellent and rich tourism resources.
The eighth World Travel Fair (WTF 2011), sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration was held successfully in Shanghai between 12th and 15th May, 2011. There were about 500 exhibitors from more than 45 countries showing a Global Carnival to nearly 50,000 attendants.

Following the tourism promotion event of “Experience Croatia, Feel Slovenia” successfully held in Shanghai this April, Croatian National Tourist Board showed in Shanghai again in order to enhance the tourism plan in China during WTF. A great message for all the Chinese tourists is that the Croatian government decided to carried out the visa-free policy again during April 1st – Oct 30th, 2011, which means Chinese visitors with valid Shengen visa are able to travel to Croatia without Croatian visa.

WTF has successfully built communicating bridge for travel trade to extend the social circle, build co-operation partnership, and expand new markets. It is reported that there were 16 million visitors for outbound travel in the first quarter in 2011, 16.5% increased than last year. It is estimated that it will be 65 million person/times for outbound travel in 2011.
