On the afternoon of June 19, CNTA chairman Li Jinzao visited Mongolian Minister Oyunkhorol for Nature, Environment and Tourism in Ulaanbaatar. The two exchanged views on how to strengthen cooperation under the China-Russia-Mongolia Tourism Ministers’ Meeting mechanism, propel cross-border tourism cooperation along the ancient tea route, and establish the China-Mongolia cross-border tourism cooperation zone. They were accompanied by CNTA departmental heads concerned and senior officials from the Mongolian Ministry of Nature, Environment and Tourism and the Tourism Commission of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. On that morning, Li held a meeting with Chinese ambassador Xing Haiming to discuss how to facilitate China-Mongolia cross-border tours.
