On May 18, Mr. Roberto Germán Palais , Secretario Ejecutivo of INPROTUR joined Argentina Tourism promotion workshop in Shanghai with 16 incoming services and tour providers from Argentina, brought with tourist products and excellent tour itineraries which were warmly welcomed by Chinese tour operators.
With the invitation from President Xi Jinping, President of Argentina Mr. Mauricio Macri had a very successful state visit to China with a significant delegation consisting of ministers and senior officials from agriculture to tourism.
Among many agreements Argentina will effect further simplification of visa for Chinese nationals with 10 year multiple visa for upto 90 days during each visit starting from 15th June this year.

To promote such major breakthrough the Secretario Ejecutivo of
INPROTUR Mr. Roberto Germán Palais brought 16 incoming service providers and suppliers from Argentina to China for a promotional workshop in Shanghai on the 18th May. The workshop attracted over 180 Chinese tour operators, corporate travel organisers from Alitrip to Ctrip, from CITS to CTS International as well as many specialist tour operators focusing on special interest or high end visitors for Argentina and Antarctica.
