The number of Brazilian travel agencies declared fit to cater Chinese tourists next year increased up to five percent from 2015 and reached 316, confirmed today the Ministry of Tourism.

'If we want to raise the level of Brazil in the reception of visitors of that nationality offer packages that meet your expectations it is essential, said the head of the branch, Marx Beltrão.

China is the biggest global issuer of tourists and represents an important market for Brazil.

According to statistics, over 53 thousand Chinese tourists came to this South American nation last year, an insignificant figure in comparison with the total of six million 305 thousand 838 registered.

For the Chinese tourists to travel to any country the government of the Asian nation requires that agencies that deliver their services are rightly accredited to the Ministry of Tourism and meet the terms of the signed understanding between Brazil and the national administration of tourism of China.
