Ebrahim Matthews, Managing Director of Diners Club South Africa, added, “Since its inception, Diners Club has been involved in the travel industry; it’s in our DNA. Diners Club was the world’s first payment card and the first to be accepted by airlines. The travel industry remains key to our business and our partnership with ASATA is therefore an important one. It enables us to support further development in the industry and actively enhance the service that we provide to our mutual customers. WTM’s extensive global network plays an important role in extending this customer service even further, as it introduces the South African travel industry to buyers and suppliers internationally.”

“Through our sponsorship of the ASATA Diners Club awards we hope to demonstrate our commitment to the South African travel industry and to express our gratitude for the support it continues to give us.”

The awards evening was a great success with an impressive array of industry leaders present to show their support to the outstanding candidates for the ASATA Diners Club awards.
