Mr. Du Jiang, Vice Chairman of China National Tourism Administration (CNTA), met with Mr. Ricardo Patiño, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ecuador in Beijing on November 19th, who exchange the ideas of strengthen bilateral relations and the tourism cooperation of two countries.
 

 
 

Mr. Dujiang said, recently both the Chinese tourists to Ecuador and the Ecuador tourists to China have been increased rapidly, however, it’s not enough as the factors of visa policies, flights and cultures, etc. By the end of October this year, Chinese citizens to Ecuador are up to 8,700, increasing to 33% compared the same period of last year. He stated tourism can not only enhance the economy, but also boost the bilateral communication, thus, CNTA is very happy to further the cooperation with Ecuador on tourism so that drive more Chinese tourists traveling Ecuador and attract large amount of Ecuadorian tourists coming to China, while build up the excellent base for friendly exchanges of the two counties.

Mr. Patiño also also comments that Ecuador is endowed with rich natural and cultural heritages, which provide boundless tourism resource for the country. Ecuador is willing to establish a strategic collaboration alliance with China to tap more opportunities and resources in tourism industry. He warm welcomes to Chinese people to savor the unique glamour of Ecuador, a land bestowed with rich natural and cultural heritages.
