Euro-Asia Economic Forum 2013 Hightlights on Tourism Partnership
The 2013 Euro-Asia Economic Forum (EAEF) held on September 26 to 28 in Xi'an.About 850 officials, entrepreneurs, academics and experts from Europe and Asia attended a series of parallel forums. Tourism Partnership is one of the most important forums.
The 2013 Euro-Asia Economic Forum (EAEF) held from September 26 to 28 in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, with a focus on developing cooperation between China and Europe.

Chinese Vice-Premier Wang Yang, who is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, attended the opening ceremony and address to deputies from more than 75 countries and regions throughout the world.

About 850 officials, entrepreneurs, academics and experts from Europe and Asia attended a series of parallel forums in EAEF, with a total estimated 2,000 guests in attendance during the three-day event.

Forum about Euro-Asia Tourism Partnership

The Euro-Asia Tourism Collaboration Forum is an event being hosted by Xian Tourism Bureau under the support of China National Tourism Administration, Shanxi Provincial Tourism Bureau and Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which is designed to bring together international leaders and shareholders in the tourism industry from more than 30 nations and cities along the silk road to discuss ways to promote the growth of sustainable tourism with a special purpose in helping developing countries following the guidelines set forth in the Silk Road economic plans by each country.
 
Gerald S.A. Perez, Adjunct Professor of University of Guam (SBPA),speaked on Cultural Heritage - The Foundation of a Destination's Global Tourism Identity and presented the Guam tourismDr. Adam Wu, Chief Operating Officer of China Business Network, was the moderator of this forum and delivered a speech on Outbound Travel and Outward Investment from China

Through this program, international leaders will introduce the Silk Road tourism as internationally renowned, seamless travel experience, to promote the prosperous development across all Silk Road destinations, stimulating ongoing investment. Silk Road stakeholders will work closely together for mutual benefits and drive improving cultural and environmental management.
