El Corte Inglés Celebrates China's October Golden Week with Golden Experiences for Chinese Customers
To celebrate the Full Moon Festival and Golden Week, El Corte Inglés Castellana in Madrid will delight Chinese customers with innovative programming and promotions from September 15 to October 15.
El Corte Inglés builds on its pioneering efforts to delight Chinese customers at its flagship store – El Corte Inglés Castellana in Madrid – with innovative programming and promotions during China's Full Moon Festival and National Day holidays in September and October, as well as enhanced services and amenities for Chinese travelers in its Castellana store.

El Corte Inglés has partnered with some of the world's leading luxury brands to create unique in-store events, craftsmanship workshops, limited edition gifts with purchase and presentations by expert watchmakers during the October Golden Week period. Brand partners for these exclusive events include Rolex, Panerai, Blancpain, Sisley and Shisheido, among others.

El Corte Inglés will also launch a new diamond line, Leibish & Co., featuring rare and valuable colored diamonds, including popular golden and yellow colored diamonds.

To celebrate the Full Moon Festival and Golden Week, El Corte Inglés will decorate the entire store with a festive "gold" theme. The special programs and promotions will begin on September 15, 2013 and continue until October 15, 2013.

To mark the Golden holiday, El Corte Inglés will offer limited edition El Corte Inglés branded golden packaging and gift-wrapping for customers who wish to purchase a special gift from El Corte Inglés for friends back home. The gold packaging can either be wrapped in the store, or folded flat and carried home for convenience.

In order to help shoppers easily find popular gift items, El Corte Inglés will launch a new-curated Gifting Area, along with a gift guide in Mandarin. The gifting area and gift guide will feature the most popular gifts from the world's most sought after luxury brands such as Rolex, Omega, Blancpain, Apple, Samsung, Chanel, Shisheido, La Mer, Bottega Veneta, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Coach, Michael Kors, Armani, Bvlgari, Tod's, Bally, Loewe, Chateau Lafitte and more. In addition to top luxury brands, the Gifting Area will feature luxury gifts from Spain including gourmet Spanish ham, Spanish wines, Real Madrid football merchandise as well as typical "Made in Spain" brands such as Lladro famous internationally for its porcelain statues.

El Corte Inglés' Castellena store in Madrid will also better serve Chinese customers by launching a Chinese restaurant on its 7th floor called the Dimsum Club. The premier Chinese haute cuisine Chef in Spain, Tse Yang, leads the restaurant. The menu features more than 30 varieties of Classic Cantonese snacks and is presented in a modern, luxurious atmosphere. Visitors to El Corte Inglés during Golden Week are encouraged to visit the Dimsum Club for special offers and surprises.
