China-Uzbekistan should improvce the bilateral relationships on politics,economy and culture
China-Uzbekistan stick to the principle of mutual trust and mutual respect and have made substantial progress in friendly cooperation on politics, economy and culture.
On July 22, 2011, Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), met with visiting President of the Uzbek Senate Ilgizar Sabirov at the Great Hall of the People.
Wu said that China is ready to work with Uzbekistan to enhance friendly exchanges, improve the cooperation mechanisms and earnestly implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state based on the principles of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit. He also urged both sides to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation on economy, trade, industry and humanities, strengthen communication and coordination in the SCO, the United Nations and other multilateral organizations and push bilateral friendly cooperative partnership to a new level.
Sabirov said the two countries stick to the principle of mutual trust and mutual respect and have made substantial progress in friendly cooperation on politics, economy and culture. The exchanges between the two legislatures have contributed to all-round development of bilateral ties. Uzbekistan considers China as a reliable friend and cooperative partner and is committed to deepening the all-round and pragmatic cooperation in many fields.
