Lufthansa Increases Beijing-Frankfurt A380 Flights.

German flag carrier Lufthansa has announced that it will increase the frequency of its Airbus A380 flights on the Beijing to Frankfurt route to three a week from the previous once a week.

Starting on November 20, 2010 flights using Airbus A380 aircraft from Frankfurt to Beijing will be operated on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday, while return flights will leave Beijing on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday.

The carrier says other flights on this route will still use Boeing 747 aircraft.

Lufthansa currently operates daily return flights on the Beijing to Frankfurt and Beijing to Munich routes. It has said it also plans to operate A380s on the Beijing toFrankfurt route on a daily basis.
