On October 9, Zhu Shanzhong, Vice Chairman of China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) received Serapio Rukundo, Uganda's Minister of Tourism, Trade & Industry, as representative of Chinese government in Shanghai and presided over the Uganda National Pavilion Day of Expo Shanghai 2010.
After presiding over the flag-raising ceremony at the Expo Celebration Square on the morning, Zhu Shanzhong met with the Uganda government delegation led by Serapio Rukundo, introducing to them the achievements of China's reform and opening-up and the situation of China's tourism industry, and welcoming the friends in Uganda tourism industry to participate in the China International Travel Mart to be held in Shanghai in November to intensify the marketing on Uganda's unique tourism resources. The minister Rukundo extended gratitude to Chinese government and people for their long-term support to Uganda and invited Chinese friends for travel and investment including establishing tourism facilities.
