The Fourth Session of Sino-Mexico Standing Committee Unveiled in Mexico City.

During July 29 to 30, Mexico City has witnessed the grand assembly of the Fourth Session of Sino-Mexico Standing Committee, in which a Joint Action Plan of Sino-Mexico Standing Committee for 2011 to 2015 has been worked out.


Mr. Wang Zhifa, Vice Chairman of China National Tourism Administration, led a delegation to the convention and held both informal discussion and official meetings with Ms. Gloria Guevara Manzo, Mexican Minister of Tourism, and Mr. Alejandro Moreno Medina, Mexican Vice Minister of Tourism on July 29. Ms. Manzo extended warm welcome to the CNTA delegation and expressed the hope to enhance the mutual tourism communication and cooperation between the two countries. With fruitful discussion and meetings, tourism sectors of both countries have come into Conference Minutes of Tourism Work Panel of the Fourth Session of Sino-Mexico Standing Committee and set down the cooperative field of both countries in terms of tourism as incorporated in Joint Action Plan of Sino-Mexico Standing Committee for 2011 to 2015.

Under the friendly and candid atmosphere, a Tourism Work Panel Conference was held between leaders of tourism sectors of both countries with down-to-earth approach. After introducing to each other the status quo and development strategies of the tourism industry, both parties came to and reached a broad consensus on a wide range of significant matters as how to enhance tourism communication, bolster each other’s tourism publicity campaign, accelerate the opening of direct flights between Beijing and Mexico City, implement the Memorandum of Understanding on Tourism Implementation Plan for Chinese Tourist Groups to The United States of Mexico, and so on.
